The Odell Lions club has adopted the Odell Community Hall. We are working diligently to raise money for and help repair the Odell Community Hall. Our ultimate goal is to begin providing more social and educational opportunities through this local resource. Below are some of the projects we’ve begun and there will be plenty more to come.
Community Hall Ceiling Painting
3/14/09 The Lions, guided by Mike Brown, professional painter and volunteer, masked off the entire gymnasium and repainted the ceiling. It took over 80 gallons of paint and several hundred manhours of volunteer labor.
Scaffolding was generously donated by Tucker Refrigeration.
Community Hall Work Night
6/5/08 The Lions, along with several community volunteers took to the community building to scrub floors, clean bathrooms and polish the wood gym floor.
The floor buffer and chemicals were generously donated by the Odell Grade School.
